Great article.

I am dad with a daughter, and totally lose it when I come across stuff like this. She should have set an example and not resigned. That would have taught her ex as well as the male dominated establishment a hard lesson — that women won’t be intimidated. And yes, I appreciate how easy it is to make such a pronouncement when I am not the one suffering the consequences. Still, I can’t help getting all riled up about it.

Having said that, I have couple of thoughts/questions:

  1. Do you think she can use this issue as her platform in running for another political office?
  2. Have male politicians dealt with such issues? If so, what kind of repercussions did those instances have and how were they dealt with? We all know the case of Anthony Weiner, but that’s not relevant because he posted sexually suggestive photos of himself.
