Who Is In Charge of America’s Vaccine Mandates?

Should there be a price for infecting people with Covid-19?

IN THE NEWS:

Two Biden Vaccine Mandates — One Blocked, One Upheld

New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, California, Oregon, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware, nine states that went to President Biden in the 2020 election, decided this week to roll back mask mandates and proof of vaccination requirements. But Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Director of the CDC, says “we are not there yet”. See WSJ, 2/10/2022. Regardless, these states will no longer follow the CDC’s recommendations about masks and vaccination. But the CDC is our nation’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. So if the CDC is not in charge, then who is? OSHA? CMS? Another federal agency?

This question went all the way up to the Supreme Court. And on Jan. 13th, the same day that the U.S. Supreme Court rendered its rulings on two federal vaccine mandates, President Biden posted this on the White House website:
